DURABILITY GUARANTEE

ATLANTIC MINI-FRIDGE CO LTD. guarantees that the cooling unit of the Frostek Chest Freezer will operate for 3 years from the date of delivery.

Should the cooling unit block, overheat, or simply stop working within the 3-year period, a new cooling unit will be provided free of charge as replacement. NOTE: It is important before such a claim is made that the chest freezer be checked against the maintenance requirements, installation procedures, and troubleshooting procedures, etc. as explained in this manual.

To obtain a replacement cooling unit, the existing defective unit must be removed and returned to the dealer (at the client's cost) where the freezer was purchased, together with the serial number of the chest freezer. The cooling unit will be tested at the factory, and if shown to be defective, a new replacement will be sent free of charge. Should the cooling unit be found to be in good working condition, it will be returned instead of a new unit.
Transport charges to remote locations are not included in the guarantee, and is the customers responsibility.

PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE

SPECIAL NOTE FOR KEROSENE
AMF can not guarantee the performance of the Kerosene models because there are too many variables which are beyond our control. However factory tests (using 115 volts) show same results as LPG freezers.

LPG
ATLANTIC MINI-FRIDGE CO LTD. guarantees that the Frostek Chest Freezer will reach a temperature of -15°C (4F) at room temperature of +25°C (77F), with the following conditions:

* The freezer should not be set up in direct sun, or close to external heaters.
* The freezer must not be used in public area (such as a store).
* The freezer must be set up level, and the burner/orifice should be clean, and provided with clean burning propane, providing 1800 BTUs of heat.
* It is to be noted that the refrigerating action takes time, and the loading of warm food should be done in a gradual fashion, as per the instructions of the manual.
Should the above-described performance not be reached, ATLANTIC MINI-FRIDGE CO LTD. will provide a replacement cooling unit free of charge.

Prior to requesting a replacement cooling unit, the Frostek should be checked against the installation and maintenance requirements.
To request a replacement cooling unit, the defective unit must be removed and returned to the manufacturer (ATLANTIC MINI-FRIDGE CO LTD.) with the serial number of the chest freezer, and the name of the store which sold the unit.

(It should be noted that factory tests done prior to shipping yield from -17°C to -25°C at +25°C (0F to -12F at +77F)).
