The minibar's absorption cooling unit uses convection to perform the heat transfer required for cooling the interior contents; therefore proper ventilation is very important. The following image depicts example of installations with proper ventilation.

Important note: Inappropriate installation may void cooling unit warranty.

The above installation examples will allow proper cooling by means of a chimney effect (cool air is naturally drawn in at the bottom and heat escapes at the top). Another important point to take into consideration is to install the minibar on a solid flat surface. The minibar must sit perfectly level in all directions; Installing a minibar out of level will cause performance problems.
